The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has described the reign of Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty (Oba) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Adegorushen V, as transformational, adding that the monarch has redefined what royalty is all about.
Rep. Benson gave the commendations in a statement commemorating the 10th coronation anniversary of Oba Shotobi.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, I extend my warmest congratulations to our revered monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr. Dr.) Abdulkabir Adewale Shotobi, Adegorunshen V, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, on the momentous occasion of his 10th Coronation Anniversary.
“Kabiyesi, over the past decade, your reign has been nothing short of transformational. You have not only upheld the rich traditions of our forefathers with grace and wisdom, but have also redefined what modern kingship looks like – a rare fusion of VISIONARY LEADERSHIP, CULTURAL SOPHISTICATION, AND COMMUNITY-BUILDING EXCELLENCE.”
The three -term lawmaker who is serving as the Chairman, House of Representatives Defence Committee, also said that Ikorodu has witnessed socio – cultural development under the first decade of Oba Shotobi, congratulating and wishing the royal father a long reign.
“Under your stewardship, Ikorodu has witnessed unprecedented growth – in youth engagement, economic advancement, educational strides, and cultural rebirth. You have fostered peace, championed inclusivity, and consistently elevated the voice and pride of Ikorodu on the national stage.
“Your Majesty, your passion for the progress of Ikorodu Division and your hands-on approach to communal development have left indelible marks on all of us. You have given us reasons to dream bigger, to believe more, and to act bolder in service of our homeland.
“As you celebrate this golden milestone, we pray that Almighty GOD continues to bless your reign with good health, wisdom, prosperity, and peace of mind. May your crown remain a symbol of divine grace and your legacy echo for generations to come.
