10th Coronation Anniversary: Oba Shotobi Hosts Clubs, Societies, Groups In Ikorodu -

As part of the ongoing celebration of his 10th coronation anniversary, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, (Oba) Dr. Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Adegorushen V, hosted clubs, societies, associations in Ikorodu at his palace.

The colourful event was attended by HRM Oba Moroof Oyekunle Tijani, Oluwa of Apapa, Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN, Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, the Asipa of Ikorodu, Otunba Ayodele Elesho, the Agbaakin of Ikorodu, Otunba Ganiyu Abiru, Executive Secretary, Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative (IDPIL), Asiwaju Rotimi Erogbogbo, former Chairman, IKODASS, Alhaji Monzor Olowoshago, Baroyin of Ikorodu, Iyaloja General of Ikorodu Division, Chief (Mrs) Busola Isikalu, Alhaji Kolawole Fatai, Chairman, IKODASS among others.

There were also traditional Chiefs and other stakeholders.

About 50 associations and societies led by the Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS) that were in attendance took their turns to pay homage and present gifts to the Ikorodu monarch.

In his royal remarks, Oba Shotobi thanked his royal colleague from Apapa for identifying with him and the people of Ikorodu for the celebration of his reign.

The Ayangbure of Ikorodu also thanked the planning committee of the coronation anniversary led by Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN, for the all – encompassing programmes and support.

Oba Shotobi also announced that additional 30 scholarship will be given to students in Ikorodu by his foundation to add to the 50 that benefitted on Tuesday during the Inauguration of his royal foundation at the Ikorodu Town Hall.

The royal father thanked clubs, societies and associations for their support always and impacts on the development of his kingdom.
