Mariam Akinloye

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ikorodu Local Government branch, has changed with Comrade Dawodu Temitope Tairu emerging as the new Branch Chairman, succeeding the immediate past Chairman, Comrade Oluwafemi Fakolade, Jpil.
Comrade Dawodu will lead a new executive council that was sworn in at the Teachers House, Oga Primary School, Ikorodu, for the next four years.
Other members of the newly inaugurated executives are Com. Fatai Kazeem (Deputy Chairman), Com. Mabunmi Bolarinwa (1st Vice Chairman), Comrade Fabelurin Adeniyi (2nd Vice Chairman), Com. Bakare Fatimah Bintu (3rd Vice Chairman), Com. Odunayo Babatunde (Branch Secretary), Com. Sosanya Isiwele (Branch Treasurer), and Com Ibrahim Noheem (Publicity Secretary).

Others are Com. Olabode John Wesley (Financial Secretary), Com. Kassim Naheem (Assist Branch Secretary), Com. Olude Funmilayo (Social Secretary), Com. Sanni Seun (Examiner of Account I) and Com Adewole Adetayo – Examiner of Account II).
About four others were also co-opted into the executive council.
