The representative of Ikorodu Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), has described the newly commissioned ‘Aafin’ (palace) Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, as a centre for cultural renaissance and an architectural masterpiece.
AMA, commending Builder Sesan Daini, the Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), for the construction of the palace, described it as a bold statement of his leadership and deep – rooted love for his community.

The lawmaker said in a statement after the commissioning of the palace by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu who was represented at the event.
“Today, I had the singular honour of witnessing a truly historic and glorious occasion — the commissioning of the awe-inspiring ultra-modern palace of the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom. What a moment of pride and progress for our dear community!

“This exceptional edifice, a beacon of cultural renaissance and architectural elegance, was initiated and brilliantly executed by a visionary leader, Bldr. Olusesan Daini, the indefatigable Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. The project reached its crowning moment today as it was officially commissioned by the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu.
“The palace is nothing short of magnificent — a true beauty to behold, and a living testament to the sterling performance, bold leadership, and deep-rooted love Bldr. Daini has consistently shown towards the people of Igbogbo. This is not just a building; it is a monument of heritage, pride, and purpose for present and future generations”, Hon. Aro said.

He congratulated the highly revered Adeboruwa, chiefs and the entirety of Igbogbo people, adding that the new palace will open a new chapter in the life of the town.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the revered monarch of Igbogbo Kingdom, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the esteemed palace chiefs, and the entire indigenes and residents of Igbogbo. This is a new chapter in the history of our kingdom — one that will echo through time.

“Indeed, today was a day of joy, admiration, and a celebration of visionary leadership. May the legacy of this glorious palace inspire more transformative strides in our community and across Lagos State.
