The Chairman – elect, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has reinstated his commitment to delivering good governance when his administration fully assume office later this month.
He reaffirmed this in a statement after he received his certificate of return from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) alongside his Vice Chairman -elect, Barr. Ade Ayeni and Councilors -elect, on Wednesday.
Aroyewun won last weekend’s poll with 15, 015 votes which is unprecedented in the history of the local government elections in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

“Beyond its value of attestation to our collective victory, I take the certificate as a symbol of your trust, your support, and our collective resolve to deliver more prosperity for residents and people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
“I cannot overstate the fact that I do not take this mandate lightly. And I promise that, with your support, we will fulfil our campaign promises to our elders, the youths & women, school children and all other demographics.

“We will also make transparency our watchword”.
The incoming council administrator said that he and his co – flag bearer are ready to work with the people.
“We are ready to roll up our sleeves and work for and walk with the people. We will serve selflessly. We will be present, accessible, and useful in every corner of our community.

“From the bottom of my heart, I say thank you for your support and readiness to collaborate with us.
“Let’s move forward together”.
