Kunle Adelabu
The incumbent Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ikorodu Division, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo -Alogba, has been declared re – elected by the Returning Officer for the Chairmanship elections in the council.
Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba, who voted at the polling unit 008, Madan Village in Ijede, contested for re – election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), with Hon. Kabir Femi Kareem as her Vice Chairmanship candidate.
The APC candidates polled 11, 958 votes to win other opposition parties with a wide margin.
The APC candidate was returned as winner by the LG Returning Officer for Ijede LCDA, Otunba Shobanjo N.A.
The Labour Party (LP) scored 81 votes, while the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) scored 359.
Also winning at the Ward levels were all the Councillorship candidates on the platform of the APC – Hon. Basirat Kehinde, Hon. Mustapha Agbabiaka, Hon. Saka Adeleke and Hon. Temilade Akinyemi.
