Lagos East Senator, Abiru, Wife Cast Votes In Ikorodu, Commends Exercise

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, and wife, Mrs Abiru, have performed their civic duty by casting their votes today in the ongoing Lagos State Local Government and Councillorship Elections. 

Sen. Abiru voted at 10:34am at his polling unit 011, Otambala in Ikorodu. The council polls are holding across the 20 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas (LCDA) in the state. 

Abiru described the elections as a seamless exercise while assessing the conduct of the polls around various polling units across council areas in Ikorodu Division. 

He commended the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) for the conduct of the elections and residents of Ikorodu for turning out to take part and conduct themselves peacefully.  

Also, the federal lawmaker gave kudos to the security operatives who are ensuring security of property and lives.
