The Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, voted at the ongoing Local Government Elections at exactly 10:07am at her polling unit 008, Madan Village in Ijede.
Hon. Gbadebo – Alogba, is seeking re – election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the chairmanship candidate.
Speaking after casting her vote, Hon. Gbadebo – Alogba who commended the process also urged residents of Ijede LCDA to come out en mass to for their choice chairmanship and councillorship candidates.
“At exactly 10:07 AM today, I cast my vote at Polling Unit 008, Madan Village for my preferred candidates in the ongoing Local Government elections.
“Reports from various polling units across Ijede indicate that the exercise has been peaceful, orderly, and well-coordinated thus far.
“I urge residents of Ijede LCDA to come out in large numbers and actively participate in this crucial democratic exercise. Let us cast our votes massively for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure the continued progress and prosperity of our community,” she said
.She added: “I assure all voters that adequate security measures are firmly in place before, during, and after the polls. Your safety and the integrity of the election are paramount.
“Let us work together to move Ijede forward and build a brighter, better future for all.”
