The Chief Executive Officer, Western Funeral Home, Ijede, Ijede Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division, Southwest, Nigeria, Mr Tosin Onamade, has been killed.
He was brutally murdered by his assailant who we gathered lured him out of his home in Ijede LCDA, about two days ago.
Onamade was an aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency II seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly in the last general elections. He also aspired for the Ijede Chairmanship position about four years ago.
THE IMPACT gathered that he has also declared for the Chairmanship position in ijede LCDA in the forthcoming council elections.
It was gathered that his assailant shot him in the face and the gun shots impacted his face extensively when his remains were discovered along the Ijede Road.
As a politician, late Tosin Onamade was very controversial with several cases instituted in the court by him or against him.
THE IMPACT gathered that the Nigeria Police in Ijede has launched an investigation into his murder.
