The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of
God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye,
on the Christmas Day visited the Ayangbure palace in Ikorodu to pay a courtesy
call on the monarch of Ikorodu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale
Shotobi.
The visit,
which was initially scheduled
for 8am, did not start
until around 2pm when Pastor Adeboye who
is the head of the one of the largest Christian congregations in Nigeria,
arrived the Ayangbure palace
in a large entourage.
During the brief visit, Pastor Adeboye held a special prayer session for Oba Shotobi, his family and Ikorodu community before departing for the venue of his church’s annual programme tagged, ‘Let’s Go A Fishing’, which was held at the Lagos State Polytechnic main campus in Ikorodu.
