Wale Jagun The Federal Ministry of Health has announced that the much expected COVAX Astrazeneca/Oxford vaccines have arrived in Nigeria. It was disclosed on the ministry’s twitter handle on Tuesday that the first batch which came onboard an Emirate airline landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. At the airport to receive the vaccines Dr Osagie Ehanire Minister of Health, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, the National Coordinator of NCDC and Dr Faisal Shuaib of NPHCDA and other government officials.
