While the rehabilitation of IKorodu/Oba Omolaja road by the Lagos State Government has completed and raining season around the corner, there is need to safeguard the road by evacuating the drainages to allow free-flow of water.

Although, the two sides of the drainage along lgbogbo axis have been evacuated, but areas like HOMAT Schools and others still need attention.

On Ikorodu LG axis, the entire stretch of the road from Sheriff junction to Oriwu College 2nd gate is blocked. In actual fact, you cannot even notice that drainage exist there.

The Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Sesan Daini, should, as a matter of fact, ensure that the affected axis and other areas in need of attention, especially areas where drainages have partly collapsed, are attended to.

In the same vein, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, the Chairman of the Ikorodu LG, also need to pay serious attention to the newly rehabilitated road by embarking on the evacuation of the drainages to ensure that the road does not suffer another damage due to overflow of water during  rainfall.
