Royal Father, Lawmakers, Top Dignitaries Honour Queen Mobisola Hassan At 60th Birthday Celebration

Queen Mobisola Hassan cutting her 60th birthday cake at a ceremony attended by royal father, lawmakers and other eminent dignitaries.

Royal father, honourabe and distinguished Federal and State lawmakers and top dignitaries were among eminent personalities that joined Queen Mobisola Hassan, the mother of Bashir Hassan, popularly known as ‘General Bashexy’, a foremost community activist, record label owner, social and public commentator and a senior legislative aide to Hon. Wale Raji, the Representative of the Epe Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, as she celebrated her 60th birthday.

The royal, glamorous and colourful birthday celebration, which was held at Mikkson Onas Event hall, along Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Igbogbo Stadium Road on Saturday, February 29, 2020, were attended by top federal, state and local governments functionaries, community developers, royal and traditional figures and esteemed individuals.

Some of the higly revered guests at the celebration were, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of igbogbo, Hon. Wale Raji, Member, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Babajimi Benson, Member, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Sanai Oyenran Bolanle Agunbiade, the Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Otunba Segun Abiru, Chairman, Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS), BUILDER Sesan Daini, Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Prince and Olori Abiola Kosoko, the Chief Executive Officer, Origin Gardens, Mr Oluwatoyn Gafaar, Director-General, Lagos State Sports Commission, Hon. Azeez Jimoh Olosugbo, Director-General, Onward Movement of Nigeria and former Leader, Ikorodu LG Legislative Arm.

There were also movers and shakers of the entertainment sector n Ikorodu Division at the occasion.

The spacious hall was filled to capacity with guests from Ikorodu Division and beyond. They were all looking radiant in their respective outfits.

There were more than enough to eat and drink as various delicious meals and assorted drinks coupled with small chops and other snacks were served in abundance to the guests who all had a swell time all through.

Lakunle  Ologuro, a popular original palm wine provider, was also on ground to add local flavour to the event as he treated the guests to several rounds of his fresh and nourishing palm wine.

Speaking with THE IMPACT which was the official media partner for the memorable birthday celebration, the celebrant stated that she is enjoying God’s grace in her life and thanked her children and guests for the honour done to her.

“I am very happy because I have the grace of God to be alive till today to celebrate 60th. I am really happy for the love and honour from son, family and dignitaries who are around me today. I thank God for preserving my life”, Queen Hassan stated.

“l thanks my children for putting this together for me. I am really happy. I thank God for having these people around to celebrate with me.

“I want God to continue to give His grace to me, my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I want God to grant me and my children good health and prosperity”.

Speaking with dignitaries at the celebration, they described the celebrant as a loving and caring mother who is deserved to be celebrated.

 Hon Wale Raji, member, House of Representatives, Epe Federal Constituency:

“l have known the celebrant long before Bashir (her son) started working with me. Her late husband happened to be a brother to me. The celebrant and her husband were very happy together and I have known her to be a very resourceful, humble and caring wife to her late husband. She was committed to her family and caring mother to his children. Today, we can call her successful mother and wife because you can see that her children are successful. I wish her many years of service to humankind”.

“This is the first time that I am meeting her but if her children have been able to put this wonderful celebration together for her, it shows that she is a wonderful mother who has brought them up very well. This proved that she is a good family woman. I wish her happy celebrations and many more happy returns”.

OTUNBA Segun Abiru, Chairman, Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS):

“She is mother among mothers. She’s a mother that is committed to the future of her children and today is an attestation to the fact that she is a good mother, good friend, family woman who cares for all and sundry. That’s why we are gathered this afternoon to celebrate her 60th birthday. I want to wish her many more years on earth”.

Sesan Daini, Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA:

“I got to know her just recently and knowing his son, Bashexy, for who he is, that gives me a pointer to who is parents are, especially his mother. She must be an educated, progressive and caring mother. I think Bashexy picked all these attributes and more from her. I am here today to celebrate her because she has produced somebody who has continue to contribute to the development of lkorodu division. I want to wish her well and by the grace of God, we shall mark her 70th, 80th and 90th birthday celebrations and as long as God wish for her”.

“Madam Mobisola has been a wonderful woman. A Wonderful woman that has given birth to wonderful children who have been contributing to the community and projecting her wonderfulness. One of his children has made marks for himself not only in Ikorodu but at the Federal Capital Territory level and it is important to come around today to celebrate such a wonderful woman. I wish her many happy returns”.

Children of the celebrant also described her as a good mother who contributed immensely to what they are today.

“From her fruits, you can tell who mama is. Once you see his children, you can easily tell the kind of mother she is. Mama is principled and she is a good wife and mother.

“Her is a testimony despite accidents and other challenges but she is still alive. We thank God for her life. We wish her many more years up to 70, 80 and as long as God wish her to live on earth”.
