2nd Edition Of Ikorodu Market Expo Begins

Businesses at the 2nd edition of the 2nd edition of the Ikorodu Market Expo which began at Ikorodu town hall on Saturday

The 2nd edition of the Ikorodu Market Expo which enables businesses to showcase their products, services and initiatives, began today.

The Expo is part of the week-long activities marking the annual Ikorodu-Oga Carnival which also took off on Saturday with Woro parade across major streets in Ikorodu.

The expo, which would end on Friday, November 15, 2019, provides small-scale businesses the opportunity to display their products and services for thousands of Ikorodu residents, tourists and other participants that would be attending the Ikorodu-Oga Day Carnival.

Among the businesses that have already registered their presence at the expo are Bread Station, a leading bread producing firm in Ikorodu, House of Tweetzy which deals in clothing materials, shoes and other accessories and KooBox Jewelry Store.

Aside Trophy which is the official sponsor of Ikorodu-Oga Carnval, Vino Gano, which deals in various brands of drinks, leads other companies dealing in drinks at the expo.

Other drink producing companies at the expo are Global Beverages Nigeria Limited, Blackwood Alcoholic Bitters, Boss Blended Whisky and Paltry Drinks.

Also on ground at the expo are Rahmo which deals in eye glasses, boxers and others, as well as AdornedbyZee which deals in accessories, wristwatches and other items.

Grace Aion farm and Chamos farm are the leading farms displaying farms produce at the exhibition.

Others businesses at the event are First Option, an outfit selling pure honey, Lush Luxury Beddings and Kedi Healthcare.

Also at the expo to exhibit and offer services to customers are MTN and Airtel, two of the multi-national communication companies in the country.

As at the time of filing this report, many businesses were still jostling for space at the Expo while residents have started trooping to the Ikorodu town hall, venue of the Expo, to participate in the event.

The initiator of the Expo, Ms Arinola Okeowo, in a brief chat with our reporter, stated that more businesses offering different goods and services are still expected to participate in the trade exhibition.

She assured that the expo would take off fully tomorrow, Sunday.
