The Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Commander, ACP Olatunji Disu was today decorated with a new rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police by the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Zubairu Muazu at the State House, Ikeja, Lagos.

Olatunji Disu who before his transfer to Lagos in 2015 as Commander, Rapid Response Squad had served as the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Rivers

He was OC – SARS in Rivers, Oyo and Ondo states at various times and served in many states in different capacities. He equally participated in many international peace missions.

Disu obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English (Education) at the Lagos State University; post-Graduate Diploma in International Relations and Strategic Studies at Lagos State University; a Certificate in Personal Protection in the United Kingdom; and has a Master in Public Administrations at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Ondo State.
