Habib, Other Artists Display Works At 3rd Rele Young Contemporaries Exhibition

The Ikorodu-born visual artist, Habib Andu, is among the five contemporary artists that are participating at the on going third edition of Rele Young Contemporaries Exbition holding at 5, Military Street, Onikan, Lagos.

 

Others whose works are also on display are Dandelion, Yasser, Abisola and Samuel.

 

Some of the Habib’s works on display are ‘911 (Suffering and Smilling)’, ‘Sluggish Movement’, ‘Arival Quarters’, ‘House For All I’ and ‘House For All II’

 

Samuel Olowimeye works include ‘Olaju I – IV’, while Dandelion has on display works like, ‘Even In Death’, ‘Power House’, ‘Requiem For a Dance’ and ‘Like a deaf Tree’.

 

Yasser has on display, ‘Nana Kweku Biah’ and ‘Omuya Oxudu Atta’ among others while Abiola is displaying works such as  ‘Self Mask’, ‘Love’, ‘Apathy’ and ‘Evol’.

 

The exhibition, which started with private exhibition on Saturday, January 13, 2018, is expected to run for 6weeks.

 

Young contemporaries exhibition is an artistic initiative that identifies, promotes and mentors young visual artists and also giving them the platform to be part of the critical and highly commercial global art market.
