Adekunle Gold Drops New Song, ‘Money’

Urban Highlife singer, Adekunle Gold, has released a new single titled, ‘Money’, a masterpiece on his highly anticipated album ‘About 30’ recorded live with the 79th Element.

The track,which was produced by Pheelz, is an urban highlife song that speaks about the realities of being without money.

According to the singer,‘Money’ was inspired by one of his trips to Dubai where he realized he couldn’t afford all the good things life has to offer.

In the song’s intro, the ‘Pick Up’ crooner, is full of appeal to God to provide him with plenty money.

 

“Father plant money for my backyard, plenty money for my house O; no recession for where you dey”, he sings.

He also appealed to God to assist in improving his financial situation saying: “Debit mi po, family mi po; have mercy on me, give me good life with a lasting peace of mind.”

The lyrics of ‘Money’ reflects the financial situation of average Nigerians who are expecting miracle from God to survive the economc hardship in the country.
